Ahimè che tragedia. Quante volte, dopo aver detto di essere un designer del servizio mi sento rivolgere questa domanda. Una volta per tutte: il designer del servizio non progetta né bagni né cucine, ma tutto ciò che può essere ricondotto alla definizione di servizio.
Sono ormai più di quaranta anni che si parla di servizi, soprattutto in economia, e molte delle azioni che normalmente facciamo sono possibili grazie a questi ultimi.
Prendere un autobus, parlare al cellulare, disporre un bonifico, ritirare un certificato anagrafico, pagare un pedaggio, mangiare al ristorante…sono tutti servizi!
Perciò è ridicolo che, colloquio dopo colloquio, da manager e selezionatori più o meno preparati, mi senta rivolgere la solita, infelice domanda (a parte quella del titolo, che ovviamente, salta fuori ogni volta): cosa potrebbe fare all’interno della nostra azienda/ ente/ agenzia? Noi non trattiamo servizi.
Possibile che i top manager de no’altri non abbiano ancora capito che tutto è servizio? Che anche l’azienda più tradizionale che ci sia ha al suo interno decine di servizi al cliente?
Ho potuto argomentare con un proprietario di una azienda di mobili in merito e gli ho fatto notare come la consegna a domicilio dei mobili, l’organizzazione dello showroom, la consulenza dell’arredatore, la gestione della promozione attraverso la spedizione di cataloghi e newsletter, sono solo alcuni servizi che la sua azienda, più o meno inconsapevolmente, fornisce al cliente.
Alla mia domanda se questi servizi fossero stati progettati, o almeno pensati, la risposta è stata ovviamente no.
Credo che il problema di un paese che tende alla recessione sia fondamentalmente questo.
